THe Cruise in should be for Older cars only. There should be a cut off on years. Any one can see a new car all you have to do is go to the Dealership!

i am so glad that i am not the only one who feels this way. we went to myra 's last friday and could not find a parking place for all the new cars getting them. and if it keeps happening than i thank a lot of people will stop taking there classic cars to the cruise-in not knowing if they will have a place to park or not. and its a waste of time and money for gas just to have to turn around and go home. people put a lot of money into there classic cars. and they shouldn't have to stay stored up in a shed somewhere. they are made to look at. this is my comment on it.

Blake, You can trailer a car up to Lenoir and park in an adjacent parking lot and drive it in to the cruise-in once the streets are blocked at 4pm.
Chevy72 & Smiley, Thanks for the comments on the cruise-in in reference to older cars. We have to follow the guidelines and permit issued by the City of Lenoir. Since this is just a cruise-in and not a closed show, we can not limit the participants to a certain year of car. We hope you will continue to come and enjoy a great family orientated atmosphere in our historic town. We greatly appreciate your support!

Restrictions, commitments, obligations, strict guidelines and mandated rules. The lack of all of the above are the reasons I enjoy Lenoir. Please,.....This is a pretty well oiled machine right now, let's not mess with success.
